Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Versutus Accounting (“Versutus Accounting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the AugmentPMpractice-management platform and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information — name, email address, phone number, and authentication data (including two-factor settings).
  • Client and business records — the contact, engagement, task, and document information you or your firm enter to manage your work.
  • Documents and messages — files you upload to the document cabinet and notes or messages you exchange through the Service.
  • Connected-service data — information we retrieve from services you connect, such as QuickBooks Online (see Section 3).
  • Usage and device data — log data such as IP address, browser type, and actions taken, used to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your account;
  • display your firm’s clients, businesses, tasks, documents, balances, and invoices;
  • facilitate invoice payments you choose to make through connected payment providers;
  • send transactional messages such as invitations, password resets, and notifications;
  • detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

3. QuickBooks Online Data

If an administrator connects your firm’s Intuit QuickBooks Online company, the Service accesses QuickBooks data only with that authorization and only to provide features you use:

  • We read customer, invoice, and payment information to display balances and open invoices for the clients and businesses you link.
  • We enable online payment on an invoice and retrieve its secure Intuit-hosted payment link when you or a client chooses to pay.
  • We never receive or store card or bank-account numbers.Payments are entered and processed on Intuit’s hosted payment pages; the Service is not in the path of that cardholder data.
  • QuickBooks access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are used only server-side to make authorized requests to Intuit.
  • We do not sell QuickBooks data, and we do not use it for advertising.
  • An administrator can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from Settings → Integrations, which revokes our stored authorization.

Our use of information received from Intuit APIs adheres to the Intuit Developer requirements, and QuickBooks data is used solely to provide the features described above.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • With service providers that help us operate the Service — for example, Intuit (QuickBooks and payment processing), our email delivery provider, and our hosting and file-storage providers — under obligations to protect the data.
  • Within your firm, according to the roles and permissions your administrators configure.
  • For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Versutus Accounting, our users, or the public.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When a connected service is disconnected, the associated stored authorization is cleared.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption of sensitive credentials at rest, encrypted transport, access controls, and optional two-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

  • You may review and update your account information within the Service.
  • An administrator may connect or disconnect QuickBooks and other integrations at any time.
  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual limits, by contacting us.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
